How We Build Them

Post & Bottom Plates

Posts are solid 6"x 6" depending on the length of post required.
Laminated columns are also available.
Post spacing is usually 10'. In areas that have a heavy snow load we will put our poles on 8' centers.
The bottom plate is a pressure treated 2'x6'.

Top Plates

Top plates are what the trusses sit on.
A double 2'x8' is standard on building widths up to 30'.
2'x10' or 2'x12' plates are used on wider buildings.
V-braces are used on the eave wall for lateral bracing.

Wall Girts

2'x6' girts are spaced on approximately 36" centers.

Exterior Metal

We use #1 American made metal.
A 40-year warranty is standard. (Lifetime warranties are available as an optional upgrade)

Screws

Screws are color coated to match metal.
